Relevance
Two contrasting trends have been identified. Firstly, businesses in city centres have an increasing demand for logistics services. Secondly, trucks are finding it increasingly difficult to enter city centres. This leads to higher delivery prices, along with a decrease in the frequency, speed, and punctuality of deliveries. This contradiction results in businesses facing additional costs. For example, they struggle to prepare sufficient manpower to handle a large volume of goods that may arrive at unpredictable times, and they also need to set up a large warehouse in the congested city centre. Milo provides a solution to this problem.
Target Audience
Small retail stores
Small grocery stores
Gastronomy
Small and medium chains without own logistics system
Milo Supply Chain
The MILO supply chain is primarily responsible for local transportation and delivery, while long-distance transportation is done in collaboration with other logistics companies.
MILO's Vission is to deliver goods to the store doorstep quickly, flexibly, and at a low cost in the early morning, awaiting customer arrival.
To achieve this goal, MILO has made improvements mainly from three perspectives:
HUBcenter
Goods Sorting and Temporary Storage
Each city's outskirts have a HUBcenter, allowing trucks to unload without entering the city center, enabling them to quickly proceed to another city.
HUBmobil
Goods Loading and Recovery
During the night, the HUBmobil, carrying clusters of goods, appears near the customer's nearest bus stop to prepare for further distribution and retrieval work. The maximum cargo capacity of the HUBmobil is 8m³.
Public Transit
HUBmobil Towing
Using a regular bus as an example, it can provide 4-6 tons of surplus capacity. After the evening peak hours (22:00-24:00), the bus will tow the HUBmobil along its bus route to a specific bus stop in the city center. Then, before the morning peak hours (05:00-06:30), it will tow them back.
BOXcourier
Last-Mile Delivery
Each HUBmobil will carry two Automated Courier Vehicles: BOXcourier. They will distribute goods to the magnetic lock area of customer stores between 00:00 and 05:00.
BOX
Mini Warehous-Parcel
The Milo supply chain utilizes high-strength, recyclable BOXES to replace cardboard packaging. Boxes of different sizes can be interlocked, forming clusters of up to one cubic meter in size.

Use Case
Milo enables sole proprietor Lisa to enjoy transportation services at a lower cost (60% of similar services). "Let the goods wait for you" saves her a significant amount of labor costs, as she only needs to schedule an employee for goods storage and organization at 8 a.m., instead of waiting all day for the arrival of packages.
